ok so like imagine u watching some old sci-fi show like Jetsons or Black Mirror or idk some random Netflix thing and u thinking “ha, teleportation? mind reading apps? never ever gonna happen” … but then like, a few years later u check and wait… is that kinda real now?? Tech is crazy, like it moves faster than ur attention span on TikTok. Some of these wild ideas r sneaking into our life like that annoying cousin who shows up unannounced and just eats all the snacks.
take self driving cars for example… I saw a Reddit thread where ppl were freakin out about AI cars “taking over the world” or smth. meanwhile Tesla and others are already letting cars drive themselves in some areas. not perfect tho sometimes it feels like the car is having a nervous breakdown at a red light lol but its kinda happening… remember ppl used to joke “my car drives me while I sleep” and ppl laughed, now.. yeah, sorta real.
Brain-Computer Stuff: Mind Reading (kinda)
This one is actually weird… Elon Musk’s Neuralink thing is like trying to plug ur brain to computers. the idea is u could like type or scroll through insta or maybe control gadgets just by thinking. sounds creepy but also kinda awesome? some tests already show ppl controlling robotic arms with thoughts… imagine accidentally thinking “send that meme” and it sends to ur boss lol. people online are either scared or hype af about this.
AR: Like Insta Filters on Reality
